Meet My Niece Anna.  On September 17, 2010, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Anna’s mom Kristen, my younger sister, works for Calico Country. Since her diagnosis, Anna has been an inspiration to Calico customers and friends who have made over 400 quilts in her honor for the children of Cardinal Glennon Hospital and special children in Southern Illinois. We have donated all the materials and customers have donated their time to lovingly make these quilts.
A special thank you to Tacony Corporation of Fenton, MO for their continued support of Anna's Quilts and their efforts to make Anna's Quilts a part of the Paducah Quilt Show each year.
The quilts are given to newly diagnosed patients, and to any child who just needs the love and comfort a special quilt can give.
Anna is doing very well and has finished her treatments.
She is our Super Girl. Please continue to
remember her and all the children still fighting this disease.
Thank you, Chuck
